At Hellenic College, the Office of Vocation & Ministry is housed along side the Office of the National OCF Program Coordinator. This allows the two offices to work in tandem on programs which serve to edify college students both on the Hellenic College/Holy Cross campus and on campuses across the nation. A significant portion of the Lilly Grant has been invested in the efforts of the National OCF.
One of the most tangible and immediate benefits of these offices’ working relationship is to be found in the Vocation Grants offered to registered OCF groups nation-wide. A total of $25,000 per academic year is available to “offer opportunities for college students to explore their Christian vocations.” OCF groups may apply for grants in the range of $100 to $5000.
Visit the OCF website to learn more about how to begin the Vocation Grant application process.
The Office of Vocation and Ministry (OVM) at Hellenic
College trains and educates faithful, energetic, high achieving, and
service oriented Orthodox Christian young people to be leaders in the church as
priests and lay people.
